My Services

Although I do tend to do a lot of typing work (I'm very fast and I love to type!) I do offer a whole range of services.  In fact, some clients think of me as a kind of Virtual Assistant in that I often work from home and I do offer quite a wide range of services.  However, if a client needs me to work on the premises, I'm happy to do so.

Ultimately, it's my goal to support my clients in any way that I can, whether it is that they don't have sufficient work to warrant employing someone or whether they simply need me to help cover a member of staff who's fallen ill.  My clients come to me for many different reasons.

The following will give you a little more idea of how I may be able to help you (just click on the links for more info on any particular service) ..... and how you may recognise the fact that you do, indeed, need some support.

How will you know if you need my services?

Estate Agent, Letting Agent, Surveyor, Solicitor, Financial Adviser, Individuals and Small business owners: Can you relate to any of these situations?

Estate Agent/Letting Agent/Surveyor:

  • I would rather be selling houses than typing up sales details.
  • I already have someone who does my typing, but we sometimes need a hand during busy periods.
  • My support staff are on holiday for 2 weeks and I don't want to go to the expense of agency fees, I just have some audio typing that needs to be done.
  • I have an inventory to get typed up, but my support staff are busy doing other things.
  • I have a stack of lengthy structural surveys/Home Buyers Reports to be typed and no one who has the time to fit them all in.
  • I want to know the person I am dealing with is quick, reliable and trustworthy, knows how I work and knows how to use my system.  
My Services: Overwhelmed with work

Solicitor:

  • I already have a secretary, but she is busy with other things. She doesn't have time to type up my attendance notes as well.
  • I have Replies to Points of Dispute that need typing. I normally do them, but I don't have time and my support staff are also busy.
  • I have an old Lease that needs typing up from scratch, but have no one who can spare the time.
  • I have a couple of huge files that need photocopying and I can't have my support staff away from their desks/phones as we are really busy.
  • I want to know the person I am dealing with is quick, reliable and trustworthy, knows how I work and knows how to use my system. 
My Services: Out of your depth when it comes to typing?

Financial Adviser:

  • I don't have a lot of typing, but I would like to be able to call on someone to help me out occasionally.
  • I don't need a secretary as such; my suitability letters are templates that I amend. However, it would free up my time if I could find someone to type up the amendments.
  • I have lengthy portfolio reports to type up, but I haven't got time and I have other clients I need to see.
  • We move offices very shortly and need someone to catalogue all the files into a spreadsheet.
  • I want to know the person I am dealing with is quick, reliable, and trustworthy, knows how I work and knows how to use my system. 
My Services: Audio Typing

Individuals:

  • I am a two-fingered typist. It will take me ages to type up this letter to my insurance company.
  • I don't have access to a computer.
  • I can already type and I have access to a computer, I just don't have the time.
  • I am producing a thesis/dissertation and it will take me forever to type it myself.
  • I really don't enjoy typing, at all, as I'm not very accurate and make too many mistakes that spell-checkers can't identify.
  • I am writing a book, but I need someone to check my grammar and formatting before I send it to print. 
Book Writing

Small Business Owner:

  • I much prefer to do what I love, rather than the admin 'stuff'.
  • I'm always under time pressure and finding the time to do quotations, proposals and other written communications is a challenge.
  • I'm a two-fingered typist and it takes me ages to type anything.
  • My accuracy when typing is questionable - even with spell-checkers - and I need my communications to look good, have the correct grammatical structure and correct spelling so that I create a good impression with my clients and prospective clients.
  • I don't have any typing, but I spend a lot of time out of the office and need someone just to answer my calls and take messages so I don't miss any business.
